ABOUT THE PASTORAL COUPLE

Reverend Noël with his wife Janine Brinton are originally from Pentecostal Holiness – Christian Heritage Church in Krugersdorp. Under the leadership of Dr. Pat Godwin, they studied at the Christian Heritage Bible School where they obtained their Diplomas in Ministry and Leadership in 2001 and 2002 respectively.  Janine studied further from 2003 – 2006 and obtained her degree in Counselling from Calvary University. In 2008,

Reverend Noël completed a Certificate Course for a year at the Hebraic Roots Teaching Institution under the Faculty Dean, Dr Wimpie Liebenberg.
In 2009, Janine completed the same Certificate Year Course at the Centurion Yeshiva run by Reverend Noël.

Towards the end of 2004, Reverend Noël who had been currently working for about 2 years as an Assistant Pastor to Dr Pat Godwin was nominated by Dr Pat Godwin to take over the almost non existent – PHC Christian Family Church – Valhalla from Pastor Len Clarke, who was going into retirement.

They were offered the position to re-establish, build up and manage the church in Pretoria, formerly and fondly known as Valhalla Christian Fellowship.

Even though the task ahead of them was daunting, they firmly believed that this was God’s calling for their lives and so they took up the challenge and in January 2005.

Reverend Noël and Janine Brinton, re-located to Valhalla and have been busy with God’s work in Valhalla, Pretoria to date.

After 9 years of trying to conceive, God blessed them in 2013 with a miracle, her name is Janel Phoebe Brinton.

Reverend Noël and the church are very active in the community. The church is used once a month to hold the Community Policing Forum meetings,where Reverend Noël is an active member.
He also started and served as the Chairperson for the Valhalla Residents Association, until it was taken over and is currently known as RAVE.  He is on the Ward Committee for Ward 66, his portfolio being Religion.

In January 2014, Reverend Noël approached the Steering Committee of the Church and the Pentecostal Holiness Church Central Conference asking for their blessing in changing the name from PHC Christian Family Church – Valhalla, to Pentecostal Holiness Church – Mount Olive which was received with great enthusiasm and a unanimous “YES”

We are now in the process of changing the name.

OUR VISION

  • Our vision is to see Christians mature in their faith;
  • To love the Lord their God (Yahweh) with all their heart, their mind and their soul;
  • To put Him first;
  • To make His love known;
  • To mature in the Word, by the Spirit of God (Yahweh) and to understand our Hebraic Roots in order to continue our mission; and
  • Bring in the harvest.  (Matthew 9:37)

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to make men and women disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ (Yahushua Hamashiach):
To baptise them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh) and to teach them everything that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ (Yahushua Hamashiach), commanded us to do, using sound doctrine and teachings that are scripture based.  (Matthew 28:19)
